Alienwebshop is a hosting company located in Somerville, Massachusetts.
We provide a range of services including co-location, web hosting, domain registrations, secure certificates, consulting and more. Our hosting services are delivered from our co-location facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
We rely on many established vendors and open source software packages in order to deliver our services. We host using Dell servers, all of which are running the FreeBSD operating system. Our web servers run Apache with additional modules from PHP and ModSSL. Our database servers run MySQL. Our co-location and network services are provided by XO Communications. Our domain registration and certificate services are provided by Tucows OpenSRS.
